1st Battle

Testing my own rules, modern warfare concepts.

Tank battle versus my cousin, no infantry, save for the rocket launcher in the back of the half-track. My cousin took 3 tanks, the half track, and a jet (that had to be called in like an air strike).

The start of hostilities, two patrols meet. An air strike is called in, pending.
The village is stormed by my tanks, while my other tanks set up on the ridge. One of my cousin's tanks is destroyed.
My cousin loses the armored car too.
Airstrike arrives. One of my tanks is lost.
Bazooka gunned down after 3 misses.
2nd tank falls to airstrike.
Another tank of my cousin's falls.
The carnage thus far.
Despite taking 2 hits from machine gun fire, the jet takes out another tank of mine.
After taking a hit from the jet, my remaining tank surrenders. The game goes to my cousin!

So it begins...

Since about the age of 14, Wargaming has been an obsession of mine. I must say, I've been attempting to replicate the concept unknowingly since about the age of six.

What has prompted me to start blogging about my experiences is the general lack of people my age blogging about their Wargaming, or so it would seem. Most seem to be </> middle aged British gents. I rather admire their commentary- this blog is merely to show the world (sad reality, no one cares) that people who wargame are not solely graying Brits!

And also it gives me a place to post battle reports.

Without further ado- let the experiment begin!
